Are your candles natural?

Yes, they are made of soy and coconut wax which gives a much cleaner & longer burn -  no toxins or parabens.  Soybeans are a renewable source of energy and being biodegradable means it’s kinder to the environment. Soy wax is also easily washable with soap and water and does not stain.
 
We opt to use fragrance oils as studies show there are a few dangers with burning essential oils, however all of our fragrance oils are Phthalate free and Animal cruelty free  The wicks I use  are organic cotton.

 

When will my candle arrive? 

I will aim to post out your order within 3-5 working days but in busy periods there may be a slight delay so do try to leave as much time as possible. Please send me a message to if you need your order urgently. I will do my best to accommodate your request.
 
If you would like faster shipping or for your parcel to be insured and tracked/signed for then this can be arranged, just let me know via the contact form on the website and I will adjust the delivery charges.

 

How long will my candle burn for?

I’ve spent many hours testing candle burn times and no two candles are the same depending on where you choose to burn it. Therefore I give an approximate burn time of 35+ hours for a 250ml tin. I’d advise keeping windows and doors closed as draughts can cause candles flames to flicker thus reducing burn time.
 

How can I maximise the burn time of my candle?

You can maximise the burn time of your candle by making sure you trim the wick to no more than 5mm and letting it burn for a minimum of 2 hours. Once your candle has reached its full burning pool, it is recommended burning your candle for no longer than 4 hours.

 

Do I need an account to buy your candles?

No – you just select your candle and go to your shopping cart. I accept payments with PayPal and credit/debit card payments.

 

Will the order be tracked?

All UK orders will automatically be sent out via Royal Mail 2nd class unless otherwise specified. It will take 2-3 days for your candle to arrive. I always obtain proof of postage. Tracking can be arranged if requested.

 

I’ve received my candle but it’s broken!

Accidents happen and if your candle is damaged in shipment, then a replacement candle will be sent out to you. This will require a photo of the damaged items within 3 days of receiving the goods. 

 

My candle hasn’t turned up yet...

If after 5 days you haven’t received your order then a replacement candle will be sent out to you. Unless otherwise noted on the candle page, their are times when stock numbers mean a slight delay in shipping

 

Can I get a refund?

I hope you will love my candles but if you wish to return one then please let me know within 7 days of receipt of the item. I am happy to refund the full amount provided it has not been lit and remains in its original packaging and is not a bespoke candle. Shipping costs are at customers' expense.

Need wedding favours?

Happy to make bespoke mini candles personalised (for example, with the Bride and Groom's names, wedding date etc on the labels). Please contact me for further info on prices and to discuss what you would like to make your day that extra bit special.
